Boeing The Complete Story

The author has written a very logical and readable account of Boeing and it is a complete story in that it covers the major milestones and aircraft models, with some excellent photographs, some rare and possibly not published before in an aviation book. There is good balance and a high standard of production. Anyone with an interest in aircraft and aviation history would be proud to own a copy.

Airbus The Complete Story

B1616

This book makes a very interesting counterpart to Boeing The Complete Story by the same publisher. Considering the very much shorter history of Airbus Industries against the history of Boeing, and the fact that this book tells the story only of a small number of airliner models, in more pages, it is naturally very much more detailed. Given that the author seems to have been writing about aircraft for so long he must have known the Wright Brothers, the quality of research and the depth of knowledge guarantees a very important book. Many aviation writers have a long interest in the subject, but this author has lived his subject and the authority is unmistakable.
