Department of Justice Attorneys Say Air Force Awarded Light Air Support Contract Last Week

AT-6 Weapons Launch

AT-6 drops smart bomb

Unannounced award another example of irregular and opaque process characteristic of competition

WICHITA, Kan. (Dec. 30, 2011) – Hawker Beechcraft learned during this week’s initial status conference at the Court of Federal Claims that the U.S. Air Force awarded the Light Air Support (LAS) contract to the Sierra Nevada Corporation and its Brazilian manufacturer Embraer last week.

Editor – Another example of the Obama Administration’s abuse of system similar to the widespread abuse in Britain by the Blair Brown Regime that saw members of the Regime become wealthy at the expense of the British economy.

Hawker Beechcraft to File Suit with Court of Federal Claims on U.S. Air Force Light Air Support Contract Bidding Process Following GAO Dismissal

AT-6 aerial

Company still has no information as to why AT-6 was excluded from competition

WICHITA, Kan. (Dec. 27, 2011) – Hawker Beechcraft is filing a suit today with the Court of Federal Claims following notification late last week that the Government Accountability Office (GAO) has declined to review its protest of the decision by the U.S. Air Force to exclude the company’s Beechcraft AT-6 from the Light Air Support (LAS) competition. The company still has no concrete reasons for the AT-6’s exclusion, having been denied explanation by the U.S. Air Force on two occasions. The LAS contract is valued at nearly $1 billion of U.S. taxpayer money and exclusion of the AT-6 could result in a de facto award to a non-U.S. company.

Merry Christmas from Prospectvision

Health & Safety Regulations to be applied during Christmas activities

Jingle Bells
Dashing through the snow
In a one horse open sleigh
O’er the fields we go
Laughing all the way

A risk assessment must be submitted before an open sleigh is considered safe for members of the public to travel on. The risk assessment must also consider whether it is appropriate to use only one horse for such a venture, particularly if passengers are of larger proportions. Please note, permission must be gained from landowners before entering their fields. To avoid offending those not participating in celebrations, we would request that laughter is moderate only and not loud enough to be considered a noise nuisance.

UKIP on course to replace the LibDems as the third Party

UKIPheader2

Opinion testing for the Feltham by-election contest shows UKIP ahead of the Lib Dem candidate.

Indications this week also shows UKIP closing on the Conservatives in what should be a safe Labour seat. Taken against the performance of Labour in 2010, the Labour majority should increase by at least 40%. However, the exercise of the British veto last week seems to have firmed up Tory support that was leaching away to UKIP.
