Judging: On Friday 1st January 2016, the FIRE Project judges will select the first three correct entries. The winners will receive a congratulations email to the address in their entry and will be required to reply by email with an address that they wish their prize to be posted to by surface mail. The FIRE Project will only use information provided by entrants for the purposes of the competition and that data will be purged after the prizes have been dispatched to the three winners. The judges decision will be final and binding

gabriel-huntley-uaIn our continuing series on Labour party exitism: Gabriel Huntley, until last month PAd to Chuka Umunna during his tenure as Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills between 2011 and 2015 has quit to head up comms for the University Alliance lobby group. Gabriel is a Fellow of the Centre for Science and Policy (CSaP) at the University of Cambridge, his alma mater. As Chuka puts his leadership on ice for now the thrusting ambitious operators in his team will no doubt move on.

Clifford Chance Admit They Can’t Guarantee Whistleblowers’ Anonymity

The Clifford Chance inquiry into Tory bullying has descended into farce after the law firm admitted that whistleblowers’ identities may not be protected. In a letter to witnesses, Clifford Chance repeatedly say they can only “try” not to reveal their identities to other key players and the public, but concede “we cannot guarantee this will be possible“. One of the main concerns with the original CCHQ inquiry was that whistleblowers’ names could get back to the alleged Tory bullies. Now the new inquiry admits point blank that could happen.
