Time to Make the Best Brexit a Certainty

Dithering Doris campaigning on manifesto of more taxes, more pensions cuts, more aid for North Korea and other assorted dictators, surrender to Brussels, threats to civil liberty – obviously believes the polls and expects a landslide to allow her to ignore voters after Election2017 – come  on let the cat have a feed

What an end to the Easter holiday. As you are no doubt aware, on Tuesday Prime Minister Theresa May took the political world by surprise and declared a snap General Election, to be held on June 8th. This is a golden opportunity for the Great British Public to give Brexit their stamp of approval once again. We can dispel – once and for all – any idea the British people regret the ‘Leave’ vote on June 23rd last year, or any suggestion we want the half-hearted, diluted ‘Brexit’ proposed by many in the Labour Party.

General Election – Veterans for Britain

General Election

Following yesterday’s announcement by the Prime Minister that she would seek to hold a General Election on 8th June, I wanted to use April’s VfB newsletter to outline our position.  VfB welcome the opportunity to raise defence as an election issue and our key message is that the UK needs a Brexit for Defence that keeps the nation out of EU defence and procurement union.

Let’s #BackBritain. Brexit will be a success.

Prime Minister Theresa May has done exactly what she said she would and has triggered Article 50. We are now into the nitty gritty of the negotiations and the Great Repeal Bill.

But the ultra remainers are still trying to overturn the result.

We need to remind them that 17 million people voted to leave and we’re confident Britain can make a success of Brexit.

Will you join our letter writing campaign and write to your local paper to tell them that you #BackBritain?

Let us know by clicking here.

We can give you a letter template or you can write your own.

The Dutch in the Medway

A guide to the outstanding quality of this book is that it is still a standard source for Dutch historians. The Dutch Wars were not the finest times for the Royal Navy. This book explains why and just how bad it was for Britain. This book is a must for all who are interested in the days of sail, most highly recommended.
