U.S. Senator Kay Hagan (D-NC) rode the Obama wave of 2008 into office, assuring Tar Heel State voters she’d be an independent, moderate Democrat in Washington. And like so many before her, the first-term US Senator has managed to put the “Blue” in “Blue Dog,” so reliable is her proxy for the Obama Administration. Here are five reasons, in no particular order, that Kay Hagan should be sent into retirement come January 2015.
How much praise could the Asheville Citizen-Times muster for the first-term Senator? About this much: “She keeps her head down, follows the party line, and focuses on raising cash for her own reelection.”
Hagan, thinking North Carolina voters are foolish, touts her record as an alleged “moderate” while voting with the Obama Administration 95 percent of the time…
…Yet she rates a dismal FOUR from Heritage Action, thanks to her “moderate” support for an Internet sales tax, onerous EPA regulations, and an $800 billion food-stamp bill.
Sen. Hagan repeated the “if you like your plan, you can keep it” mantra twenty-four times…
…And when it was exposed as a lie, Kay Hagan continued to mislead North Carolinians.
It is time for Kay Hagan to go.
