Oskar Arreaza was born and raised in Venezuela. He loved his country. He worked hard, started a family, and was a successful, contributing member of society. Then, the socialist Chavistas were elected and took power. Eventually, they came for Oskar. After this, he knew his life and property were in danger. And so, he and his family fled Venezuela, the only home they had ever known.
Tea Party Patriots Action has captured Oskar’s personal socialism story in a short documentary-style video.1
ABC’s Jonathan Karl recently interviewed Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y. Karl asked no question and did not call for a clarification when Ocasio-Cortez, presumably referring to the Mueller report, spoke about “the abundance of evidence, 10 counts of obstruction of justice, four with rock-solid evidence” against President Donald Trump. A “count” means a specific accusation of a crime. The Mueller report made no such accusation.

Today marks National Freelancers Day, celebrating the work that those who work flexibly do, and acknowledging the hardships that come with working as part of the the gig economy. With zero hour contracts accounting for two million people of the UK workforce, in 2016, it was reported to contribute £119 billion to the UK economy. Across Europe, freelance numbers have increased by 45% from just under 6.2 million to 8.9 million in 2013, making them the fastest growing group in the EU labour market.
