We at Tea Party Patriots have a lot to be thankful for this year and we are hopeful we’ll continue to see more to be thankful for from the Trump administration. We asked our supporters what they are thankful for this Thanksgiving. Their answers will make you proud to be an American:
“Thankful I live in America! Thankful for servicemen and women who fight so I can be free and say what I feel. Thank God for loving me the way I am. My family friends and my very special dog who gives a reason to keep going. My friends helped me also.”
— Marti Jone, TX
“I am thankful for the advocacy efforts of the Tea Party Patriots organization on our behalf – the unheard American voices. Because of you and your efforts to organize those of us throughout this country who have been ignored for way too long, I believe our country has a chance to once again be the great nation it once was and is meant to be. I am thankful to God for my life, my faith, my family, my friends, my good health, my work and my work family, and last but not least – our wonderful nation, the United States of America. May God Bless the continuing work of the Tea Party Patriots and may God Bless America. Happy Thanksgiving!”
— Sharon Rahn, CO
“I am thankful to be an American and the freedom we have to worship as we chose! I am thankful for the freedom of speech that we have as well. Both have been challenged under the Obama years, but I think if the Liberal stay out of power, I think President Trump will attempt to bring legislation that will help preserve it. I don’t think we can depend on the Republicans to do it without the Trump voters insisting on them getting on the Team. Certainly the Republican Senate with the RINOs are still there and have been a problem. God Bless America”
— O.H. Mittelberg, MI
“Yes I am thankful for all the things we take for granted the rest of the year. I know we were blessed to be born in this nation and must never stop fighting those who want to drive it to ruin for their personal agendas. But most of all, I am thankful for you Jenny Beth. What a gift you are giving by making it your own fight by your standing up and being that constant unwavering voice of leadership where others are too afraid or too selfish. Thank you so much.”
— Gary Lewis, MI
“I’m thankful for Jesus most of all. Second, I’m thankful for Mr. Trump and Mr. Pence. Third, the Tea Party. Keep up the good work. And let’s knock each and every democrat out of office. They are money grabbing thieves!”
— David Warn, CA
“I’m first, thankful for my Wife and our life together, Second, I’m thankful for Donald J. Trump and his Family and the sacrifice they are making to save our country. Third, I’m thankful for the conservatives who have and are running for office against all odds and the slanderous accusations they must endure to do so. I must also Thank God for giving us President Trump when we needed him most, may he protect and keep him safe and bless America and not giving up on us when we lost our way.”
— Ray Miller, NJ
“The Tea Party, and all of those supporting Pres. Trump, citizens or Congress people. Thankful of my freedom and America. Thankful for those who make my freedom possible, our service men and women. I am thankful for my family and friends. God bless each and every one. Happy Thanksgiving! Love and hugs.”
— Marie DeKnikker, ID
“I’;m Thankful that Donald Trump was voted in as President of the United States. I’m thankful I have a healthy beautiful daughter, Tessa. Thankful that he, President Trump, is looking out for The American way of life, ideals, and safety of its citizens. Thankful Hillary lost. Thankful my son returned from Iraq with all parts intact, and lost NONE of his men for the year he was over sea’s. Thankful I’m gainfully employed. I’m thankful there are people like Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, and Howie Carr, Michelle Malkin, Michael Graham, Laura Ingrham Stacy Dash, Dana Perino, Ann Coulter, Monica Crowley, Sarah Palin, Katie Pavlich, and Rachel Marsden spreading the word of the conservative right, and many more, they are just the people off the top of my head!!”
— David DiBona, MA
“I’m thankful for you Ms. Martin. Your energy and determination. Although I am struggling and broke I am thankful to be an American and I pray every day for you and for our country.”
— Bob Bellas, MD
“I am beyond thankful that Donald J. Trump is our President. He is truly a gift to us from the Lord. We are truly blessed to have him.”
— Helen Fox, PA
“I am thankful for having Mr. Trump as my President!!!!! Anyone who isn’t thankful for that is plain IGNORANT!!!!!!!”
— Patrick Keating, CA
Once the Senate returns from Thanksgiving recess, GOP senators need to ensure their tax reform bill would repeal ObamaCare’s individual mandate and that tax cuts will go into effect in 2018. If both chambers can work together, the GOP has the opportunity to pass the first tax reform package since the 1980s AND provide relief from ObamaCare by repealing the insidious individual mandate. If you haven’t already, please watch our brand new video featuring Art Laffer, renowned economist and former Reagan adviser, as he explains the need for tax reform. Be sure to share the video with your friends on social media and get the message out about tax reform.
Meanwhile, there is a serious lack of transparency from Congress about sexual harassment claims. Have you ever wondered how Congress manages claims of sexual harassment against members and its staffers? We call it the “shush fund,” filled with taxpayer dollars to hush up and pay off those who accuse members of Congress and their staffers of sexual misconduct.
“We, the taxpayers who have been paying for more than two decades to quietly settle literally hundreds of sexual harassment claims against members of Congress and their staffs, have a right to know which members and staffers have made use of the hush money over the years,” Jenny Beth Martin wrote in her recent op-ed. “Going forward, taxpayers should have knowledge about how that fund is used.”
Hard-working Americans deserve to know which senators, representatives, or staffers are using their tax dollars to pay off victims of sexual misconduct.
