National: Leave a comment for the FDA about parental consent

We just found out about an FDA meeting on Tuesday, October 26th to discuss mandating vaccines for kids ages 5-12. Today – Monday – is the last day for the public to submit comments for consideration. This takes two minutes.

Go to the government’s regulations website, write your comment, select “Individual Consumer” in the alphabetized drop-down menu under “What is your comment about?” Then submit! That’s it. Please forward to everyone you know. Let’s flood the FDA with more opposition to this madness!

Americans have already noticed that checking out at the grocery store has become a costlier experience. But get ready, because grocery shopping is about to get even more expensive. Nestlé, the world’s largest food company, warns that consumers can expect higher checkout totals and anticipates increasing the cost of their products by about 4% this year.

Back in June, Chairman of the Federal Reserve Jerome Powell sought to downplay raging inflation, portraying it as temporary, but the Consumer Price Index increased by 5.4% between September 2020 and September 2021, according to new government data.

As the holiday shopping season approaches, consumers can also expect to pay as much as 10% more for children’s toys, according to the Toy Association. But wait, there’s more. And it’s not good. The U.S. Energy Information Administration forecasts that approximately half of American households that use fuel for heat will “spend 30% more than they did last winter on average —50% more if the winter is 10% colder-than-average and 22% more if the winter is 10% warmer-than-average.”

Call your Rep. and both of your Senators

There are two really important issues we need to Congress about this week.

But first, we want to make sure you know that while there are people who say it’s useless to call elected officials in DC, it is absolutely not useless.

The Left doesn’t think it’s useless. They call all the time, on every issue they care about. They flood offices with calls. Our side gets demoralized and doesn’t call, and the Left doesn’t stop calling. Also, recently many Republicans have steeled their resolve on issues because of calls they are receiving.

It is tedious and not very fun, but your calls make a difference, so please do not skip this action item!

Visit the House of Representatives website and Senate website to find their numbers.

Now on to the messages you need to give them!

Parental consent for child vaccinations. There is a bill in the works to require parental consent for Covid vaccinations for children, but we don’t need to wait for the bill to be introduced to express our support for the concept.

Message: Parental consent must be required when it comes to any vaccinations, including the Covid vaccine.

Stop the Reconciliation bill. The Democrats are straight up lying about the Reconciliation bill. They are saying that it costs $0, when in fact, it is projected to cost at least $4 trillion over ten years. You know very well that if that is the projection, the reality will be even more. We can’t trust Sen. Manchin to say no forever, so it’s imperative that we call them all to tell them the American people do not support this extremist and insane spending bill/left-wing policy wish list!

Message: They’ve spent too much money already, and the American people do not support the additional spending in the Reconciliation bill. The American people also do not support the extremist, radical left-wing policies included in the bill, and we the people want the bill to be rejected and defeated.

President Biden’s downward spiral continues in public opinion polls. His favorable rating among independents is an abysmal 28%, and his overall approval of 37% is the lowest of his presidency.

Nine months of Biden are making many Americans wish that President Trump was still in charge and his approval numbers are now higher than Biden’s. Policy failures on everything from Afghanistan, the economy and the border have doomed Biden’s presidency after less than a year.

Local: Watch our new webinar about the National School Boards Association

Last week, we released our newest video tutorial! This one is about the National School Boards Association (NSBA) – who they are, what they’ve been up to for a long time, and what you can do to get your local school board and state school board association to rescind their memberships to the NSBA. As a reminder, the NSBA is the organization that says they represent more than “50 million students,” but also sent a letter to AG Merrick Garland suggesting the DOJ investigate upset parents as “domestic terrorists.”

Watch and share this video tutorial about the NSBA, and then be sure to download the how-to guide, and go to page 22 to read through the section on the NSBA.

Deeply troubling reports have emerged that Merrick Garland’s son-in-law is running a company that benefits from the teaching of critical race theory in public schools.

Garland’s son-in-law, Xan Tanner, runs Panorama Education, an education consulting firm that has received millions from school districts. Members of Congress have called for a full investigation into whether Tanner’s company promotes critical race theory.

These efforts are significant because of Garland’s recent order that targets conservative parents who stand up to liberal school boards and oppose the implementation of critical race theory in schools.

Reminders: Sign up forms and research to do

Keep attending the monthly meetings of your local school board! You can use our School Board How-to Guide again before you attend, and if you haven’t yet watched, you can view the two training webinars we recorded on attending school board meetings. You can find the first one here, and the second one here.

If you haven’t yet contacted the medical boards and associations to reprimand them for threatening doctors who prescribe medicines like Ivermectin, please do so this week!

Use our guide to help you know who to contact and what to say when you email or call. These doctors are risking their careers for us, the least we can do is send an email or make a call on their behalf! A doctor in Washington has had his license suspended for treating Covid patients; a doctor in Idaho has had a complaint filed against him with the state medical board – trying to take his license – specifically for prescribing Ivermectin for Covid patients. It is happening, and these doctors will not be able to help us if we do not help them.
